Tickets are sold at the palace gate — adults pay 100 MAD, with discounted rates for children and Moroccan residents (see below).

Other costs to budget for
Beyond the entrance ticket, a few optional extras are paid for elsewhere in the Medina — and prices are rarely fixed. Agree on one before you accept:
- Henna application from street artists
- Photos with performers, snake charmers, or trained animals
- Food and drink from the evening stalls
- Guided tours of the palace or wider Medina
